Yellow Brick Road Preschool in Phoenix Downtown area is seeking passionate and motivated Teachers and Assistant Teachers to join our Preschool/Toddler classes. Our Teachers are responsible for the safety, education, care, comfort, and developmental growth of each student in their classroom. We offer a dynamic and supportive environment where Teachers can create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and educational activities that promote physical, mental, and social development in our students.

What You'll Do
- Create and implement engaging and educational activities that promote physical, mental, and social development in our students
- Organize and lead daily activities that keep our students active and engaged, while ensuring their safety and well-being
- Develop and maintain accurate and complete student records, and communicate with parents and guardians to discuss their children's progress and needs
- Assess and adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet the varying needs and interests of our students
- Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment that fosters learning and development in our students
- Participate in professional development opportunities to maintain and improve professional competence
- Maintain a regular attendance record and adapt to changing schedules as needed
- Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to the needs of our students, teachers, and school administration
Requirements
- High School Diploma is required.
- A CDA or a course work or degree in early childhood education or child development is preferred but not required.
- Clear criminal history and background check
- Fingerprint clearance is required.
- Ability to create a positive environment conductive to learning.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Minimum of six months experience in a Preschool/Childcare Center setting as a Teacher is required for teacher position. No experience required for assistant teacher positions.
- Clear TB skin test - Valid CPR and First-Aid
- Food Handler Card
- Must be at least 18 years of age

- 1+ Years of experience as Preschool Lead Teacher
