What You'll Do
The Role
This is a unique opportunity to combine your administrative and educational expertise in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As our Administrative Assistant, Registrar, and Team Teacher, you will be the first point of contact for prospective and enrolled families, overseeing all enrollment and registration processes while also stepping into classrooms as a support teacher.
You will play a key role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date student records, managing waitlists, application materials, and family communication with care and confidentiality. Your responsibilities will also include coordinating scheduling, calendars, and communications for the Director and teaching staff, preparing and maintaining documentation required for licensing, accreditation, and compliance, and assisting with billing, tuition tracking, and coordination with the college's business office.
In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining compliant student files, coordinating with families to ensure all required documentation is complete and current, tracking enrollment data, and generating reports to support program evaluation and accreditation. Your commitment to confidentiality, HIPAA, and FERPA compliance is essential in all record-keeping practices.
You will also serve as a team teacher in our 9-week summer program, participating in staff meetings, professional development, and reflection as an engaged member of the teaching community.

Requirements
Required
- Must meet state licensing requirements for early childhood staff (background check, health clearances, first aid CPR certification)
- Demonstrated commitment to culturally responsive, equitable early childhood practice
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills — warm, professional, and clear
- Proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office) and comfort learning new systems
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities gracefully
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an early childhood setting, ideally in a lab school, Reggio-inspired, or nature-based program
- Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field (Bachelor's preferred)
