What You'll Do
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote social, cognitive, and emotional growth in children, grounded in developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
- Provide leadership by example, empowering teaching team members through coaching and mentoring to achieve success.
- Maintain open communication channels with parents through regular discussions and conferences, ensuring their concerns are addressed and their children's needs are met.
- Evaluate and maintain adherence to center policies, state regulations, and health and safety standards, ensuring a secure and healthy classroom environment.
- Supervise teacher assistants and volunteers, ensuring they follow planned activities, hygiene, and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation, staying up-to-date with the latest developments in education and best practices.
- Commit to ongoing professional growth, developing a personalized plan to enhance teaching skills and improve the learning experience for children.
Requirements
- Must clear full background check.
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
- A strong understanding of child development.
- High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
