About This Role
VIP Daycare in Toms River, NJ is hiring a Infant Teacher to support daily operations at an early childhood education center. This position offers $15.95 – $17/Hr and requires relevant professional experience.

What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional care to infants in our licensed childcare setting, adhering to state regulations and center policies.
- Develop and implement tailored activities that foster the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of each child.
- Track and document developmental progress and daily routines, providing detailed updates to parents.
- Ensure a spotless, safe, and organized classroom space that promotes a sense of wonder and curiosity.
- Nurture open communication with parents, keeping them informed about their child's daily experiences and progress.
- Maintain impeccable health and safety standards, adhering to sanitation and hygiene best practices.
- Foster a collaborative environment by working closely with colleagues to achieve a positive and professional work culture.
- Attend scheduled staff meetings, training sessions, and certification programs to enhance your skills and stay up-to-date.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting preferred.
- Must meet state licensing requirements for background checks and clearances.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and engage in active play.
- CDA or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Nice to Have
Preferred Qualities:
- Early Childhood Education certification or degree.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills.
- Experience with digital documentation and communication tools.
