What You'll Do
- Support the lead teachers in creating and implementing lesson plans that cater to the unique needs of each child, ensuring a stimulating and inclusive environment.
- Engage children in activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development, fostering a love for learning.
- Implement effective behavior management strategies to maintain a positive classroom environment.
- Provide individualized support to children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, and ensure they receive necessary accommodations.
- Communicate with children who are deaf or hard of hearing using American Sign Language (ASL) or other suitable methods.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence.
- Collaborate with teachers and specialists to develop tailored lesson plans that align with the child's developmental milestones.
- Support early childhood education practices aligned with specialized curricula, such as Montessori.
- Document observations and communicate effectively with parents and team members regarding children's progress and developmental milestones.
