Trinity Child Development Center is hiring for a support staff member role in Orlando. Compensation is $15 – $18/Hr. Candidates need no formal early childhood credentials to start.
We're seeking a dedicated teacher to join our early childhood program at the Trinity Child Development Center, where we foster strong families rooted in Christ's love and emphasize creativity, teamwork, compassion, diversity, and play.
Located in downtown Orlando, our center offers a nurturing and educational environment for Infants through VPK/Pre-K-5, with a secure five-acre campus featuring state-of-the-art facilities and amenities.

What You'll Do
- Familiarize yourself with and adhere to the Mission of the CDC and all its policies, ensuring alignment with our values and goals.
- Ensure the safety, happiness, and well-being of the children in your care, providing a supportive and nurturing environment.
- Manage classroom maintenance, including equipment care, room safety checks, and maintaining a clean and organized classroom space.
- Excel as a team player by being punctual, professional, and prepared for each day's activities.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, communicating regularly with families through weekly updates and progress reports.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared objectives and contribute fresh ideas to enhance our programs.
- Maintain open and positive communication with parents and the Director, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- Provide nutritious meals and snacks to children, using mealtime as an opportunity for socialization and bonding.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety in feeding and play areas, disinfecting regularly to maintain a healthy environment.
- Promote self-esteem and social skills in children, fostering a sense of belonging and confidence.
- Develop positive relationships with colleagues, promoting teamwork and a sense of community.
- Stay informed about child development stages and adapt activities accordingly to meet the needs of children in your classroom.
- Provide regular care and hygiene for children, including diaper changing, hand washing, and dressing.
- Bring concerns or issues related to children or families to the Director's attention, ensuring timely and effective support.
- Support colleagues by providing breaks and assisting with laundry and kitchen duties as needed.
- Implement our discipline policy in a fair and consistent manner, addressing misbehavior promptly and constructively.
- Maintain regular communication with families throughout the day, keeping them informed about activities, meals, and other important events.
Requirements
Additional Training as prescribed by administration.
First Aid and CPR
30 hours of in-service per year.
45 hours of mandated DCF training completed within the first year.
