About This Role
Trinity Child Development Center is hiring for a support staff member role in Orlando. Compensation is $15 – $18/Hr. Candidates need no formal early childhood credentials to start.
This role entails leading a cohesive teaching team, orchestrating curriculum development, and overseeing the daily operations of the classroom. A successful candidate must possess a deep understanding of children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development, allowing them to create a safe and engaging learning environment that fosters success. Effective communication is essential, as the ideal candidate will be able to connect with children and adults alike, guide teacher assistants, and address parental concerns with ease.

What You'll Do
- Develop and implement a cohesive curriculum by designing engaging classroom activities that align with developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
- Mentor and motivate the teaching team by leading by example and offering constructive coaching.
- Plan interactive, age-appropriate activities that promote social, cognitive, and emotional growth in children, encouraging their active participation and development.
- Establish open lines of communication with parents through regular discussions, progress updates, and parent-teacher conferences, ensuring their needs are met and concerns are addressed.
- Ensure that all center policies and state regulations are strictly adhered to.
- Maintain a healthy classroom environment by upholding high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety, ensuring the well-being of children.
- Supervise teacher assistants and volunteers to guarantee they adhere to planned activities, safety standards, and hygiene practices.
- Manage and maintain accurate records, forms, and files with precision.
- Pursue ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
Requirements
- Must clear full background check
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
- High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
