About This Role
Treehouse Academy LLC is hiring for a support staff member role in Edgerton. Compensation is $13 – $16/Hr. Candidates need no formal early childhood credentials to start.
A preschool teacher at our daycare creates a safe and nurturing environment for young children to grow and develop. They design and lead engaging activities, help children build social and emotional skills, and support their basic needs. Our teachers also monitor each child's progress and share their experiences with parents, making this a fulfilling role for those who love working with little ones!

What You'll Do
As a preschool teacher, you'll be responsible for planning and implementing curriculum and activities tailored to the needs of each child. You'll also support their social and emotional development, assist with basic needs, observe and report on their progress, and communicate with parents about their child's day. This role requires patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children.
Requirements
To become a preschool teacher, you need a high school diploma or equivalent. Our centers value additional qualifications, such as completing early childhood education courses or obtaining a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. Experience working with toddlers or young children is also beneficial. Additional requirements may include CPR and First Aid certification, a background check, and completion of early childhood education courses. A nurturing and patient personality, along with excellent communication skills, are essential for this role.
Nice to Have
While not necessary, having a patient and nurturing demeanor, excellent communication skills, creativity, and the ability to adapt to each child's needs would be beneficial for a preschool teacher. A sense of humor and a genuine love for working with young children would also make this role more enjoyable.
