Seeking a seasoned childcare professional to lead our team as a Lead Teacher.
In this role, you will develop and implement the Creative Curriculum, ensuring a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for children to grow and thrive.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for guiding teacher assistants, resolving parental concerns, and maintaining open lines of communication with families.

What You'll Do
Develop and implement classroom activities that align with the Creative Curriculum and early learning standards.
Model and coach teaching team members to achieve success, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Plan engaging activities that cater to individual and group needs, fostering social, cognitive, and emotional growth in children.
Establish open lines of communication with parents through regular updates and meetings.
Ensure compliance with center policies and state regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy classroom environment.
Maintain accurate records, files, and forms, adhering to best practices in administrative management.
Pursue ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in childcare.
Requirements
Must clear full background check, fingerprinting, and must pass health screening
Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to be trained)
Ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
High energy.
A strong understanding of child development.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Minimum of 2 years of professional child care experience but willing to train the right candidate
Nice to Have
CDA or Equivalent preferred
