Infant Toddler Teacher
About This Role
Based in Conyers, this support staff member opening at The Garden Early Learning Academy pays $12 – $13/Hr and requires a willingness to earn a CDA, with full program support provided.
Under the supervision of the Director, the Infant/Toddler Teacher will oversee the education and social development of children in a nurturing and inclusive environment. With a strong foundation in early childhood education and creative problem-solving skills, this role will shape the educational experience of our students and foster a sense of community within the Center.

What You'll Do

- Demonstrate a deep understanding of our Center's mission and values, and embody them in daily interactions with children and staff.
- Pass a background check.
- Bring at least one year of experience in early childhood programs to the table.
- Possess current CPR and First Aid certifications or obtain them within the first 90 days of employment.
- Meet the minimum age requirement of 18 years.
- Be physically capable of performing the demands of the job, including regular movement, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Remain calm and composed in potentially hazardous situations.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to work actively outdoors and/or indoors while supervising children and staff. Ability to climb, walk, run, stoop, squat or kneel. Ability to lift and carry equipment to appropriate destinations or affect the carrying of such equipment. Ability to use senses which enable safe supervision including seeing and/or hearing.
Nice to Have
Prior experience with Bright From The Start would be an asset.
