We are seeking a dedicated Lead Teacher to lead a mixed-age classroom of children ages 3–5.

What You'll Do
🎯 Your Key Responsibilities
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment with structure and consistency
- Develop and implement engaging, play-based learning experiences that meet the diverse needs of our children
- Support children’s social-emotional growth and independence, ensuring they feel safe and valued
- Guide and support assistant teachers, promoting a cohesive and collaborative team
- Maintain an organized, engaging, and calm classroom environment, minimizing distractions and ensuring the children stay on task
- Cultivate strong relationships with families and our leadership team, keeping them informed of progress and events
- Ensure compliance with all licensing and safety standards, ensuring a secure and healthy environment for everyone
Requirements
✅ What We Need to Get Started
- Experience as a Lead Teacher in a licensed childcare setting
- Wisconsin Registry credentials or the willingness to obtain
- Strong understanding of play-based and emergent curriculum principles
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
