Sweet P's Pre-K is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Director to join our team. We value applicants with experience in ADHS Licensing, Quality First, and National Accreditation. What You'll Do
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring compliance with Child Care Licensing regulations
- Maintaining NAC Accreditation
- Monitoring children and staff to ensure a safe and healthy environment
- Entering data and managing records
- Providing leadership and guidance to colleagues
- Developing and implementing lesson plans
- Teaching and guiding children in play-based and direct instruction
- Organizing and supervising art projects, field trips, and other activities
- Assisting with light cleaning duties and maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Providing diapering services for children
- Participating in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
- Addressing behavioral issues and maintaining a positive learning environment
Requirements
Applicants must possess a genuine passion for working with children and be willing to take on the responsibilities of managing others. Requirements include:
- A valid Negative TB test within the last year
- 60 hours of Professional Development
- Successful completion of a background check
- A valid Finger Print Clearance
- Current First Aid/CPR certification
