About This Role
Sunrise Childrens Academy, LLC is hiring for a support staff member role in Myrtle Beach. Compensation is $12.50 – $15/Hr. Candidates need the appropriate background.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Infant/Toddler Teacher to create a warm and engaging environment for children aged 0-18 months. The ideal candidate will prioritize the safety and well-being of each child, fostering a sense of trust and belonging.

What You'll Do
Establish a nurturing atmosphere by meeting children's physical and emotional needs, including feeding, diapering, and maintaining healthy sleep routines
Ensure the classroom is a safe, clean, and healthy space at all times, promoting a sense of security and well-being for all children
Support children's early developmental milestones through play-based activities, sensory exploration, and interactive experiences
Respond promptly and sensitively to infants' and toddlers' emotional and physical needs, providing comfort and reassurance when needed
Develop strong, trusting relationships with children and their families, founded on open communication and mutual respect
Keep accurate and detailed records of daily activities, routines, and developmental progress on Procare, informing future care and education strategies
Communicate effectively and professionally with parents, keeping them informed of their child's daily experiences and progress
Maintain a thorough understanding of licensing regulations, health guidelines, and safe sleep practices, ensuring compliance and prioritizing children's safety at all times
Maintain a clean and sanitized environment, regularly cleaning and disinfecting toys, surfaces, and equipment to prevent the spread of illness
Collaborate with colleagues and participate in staff meetings and training, sharing knowledge and best practices to improve care and education for all children
Requirements
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
High School Diploma
Knowledge of infant development and safe sleep practices
6 months experience working in a licensed child care facility.
Patient, attentive, and reliable
Strong communication and teamwork skills
