The Center Director oversees the day-to-day operations of our center, guaranteeing a safe, healthy, and high-quality educational experience for all children in our care. This role is responsible for overseeing staff, facilities, curriculum development, and long-range planning to ensure our students' needs and the center's goals are met.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as we prepare to launch a new center in summer 2026.

What You'll Do
- Maintain open lines of communication with parents of current and prospective students, using a range of methods including direct conversations, newsletters, and the parent handbook, as well as implementing community outreach activities to foster positive relationships within the community.
- Ensure the center's curriculum is well-managed, collaborating with staff to develop engaging learning activities and adhering to state and local regulations.
- Manage student records in accordance with established enrollment procedures and guidelines, ensuring all necessary information is accurately documented.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with regulatory agencies, guaranteeing legal and financial compliance.
- Maintain a budget that is well-planned and reviewed, ensuring the center operates within its means.
- Resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner, taking corrective action when necessary to ensure a positive experience for everyone.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for students, staff, and visitors, including establishing illness and emergency procedures and ensuring staff are adequately trained.
- Oversee the development and implementation of the center's strategic plan and goals, aligning them with our mission and vision.
- Pursue ongoing professional development to enhance personal and professional growth, ensuring the center continues to deliver high-quality care and education.
- Ensure the center adheres to quality standards, maintaining effectiveness measurements and staying up-to-date with state and local requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in early childhood education or related field of study with a minimum of 30 credits in ECE.
- Must clear full background check.
- Must pass health screening.
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong finance and budgeting skills.
- A strong understanding of child development.
- Ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
- Strong oral and written communications skills; technology skills.
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
- 5 years of direct professional experience in an early childhood setting.
- High energy.
