What You'll Do
- Plan and deliver activities that stimulate young minds and foster a love of learning.
- Design engaging experiences that promote the physical, intellectual, and social development of our students.
- Modify teaching approaches to meet the diverse needs, interests, and abilities of our students.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that set high standards for our students in all subject areas.
- Help children develop essential problem-solving skills.
- Transform the classroom into a vibrant learning environment.
- Oversee the safety and educational programs, ensuring a secure and supportive atmosphere for all.
- Supervise students in the classroom and during outdoor activities.
- Provide a nurturing environment that encourages good behavior and supports the development of positive relationships with parents and families.
- Establish strong communication with parents, fostering collaboration and supporting the child's family connections.
- Comply with the policies and procedures established by the Office of Licensing and DCP&P
Requirements
- HS diploma
Nice to Have
- CDA, Associate, or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education
- CPR and First Aid Training
- At least one year of experience in early childhood education
