GA Pre-K Lead Teacher

What You'll Do

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced educator to lead our Pre-K program.

Responsibilities include:

Planning and implementing engaging and interactive lessons to promote physical, mental and social development.

Creating a safe and nurturing environment that supports the unique needs and interests of each child.

Building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Conducting regular observations and assessments to inform instruction and drive student growth.

Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of child development, curriculum standards, and best practices in early childhood education.

Collaborating with colleagues to plan and implement program-wide initiatives and events.

Communicating effectively with children, parents, and colleagues through a variety of methods, including written and verbal reports.

Staying current with professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.

Assisting in the development and implementation of program policies and procedures.

Participating in ongoing program evaluation and improvement efforts.

Other duties as assigned by the program director.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• 3-5 years childcare experience
• First Aid/CPR Training
• Team player
• Self-directed with ability to work independently
• Bachelor's Degree in ECE / Non-ECE
