  • Regularly assess children’s progress through daily observations and documentation, using this information to inform future instruction.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans that reflect children’s unique learning objectives.
  • Lead the classroom with confidence and warmth, promoting an inclusive environment where adults and children thrive.
  • Organize and facilitate parent activities, meetings, and conferences, ensuring strong communication and partnerships with families.
  • Collaborate with other classrooms and age groups to ensure a seamless transition process.
  • Participate in personal and professional growth, as well as the growth of the organization.
  • Ensure the physical and emotional safety of children in the classroom, building, and off-site environments.
  • Promote healthy habits and well-being through meals, physical activities, and parent communication.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold the organization’s policies and procedures.
  • Communicate regularly with leadership about progress, concerns, and recommendations.
  • Model and enforce policies with the classroom community.
  • Effectively utilize technology to support educational activities and administrative tasks.

Requirements: State required training: Orientation through OCCRRA

CPR& Communicable Disease, Child Abuse, Child Development Associate, Highschool Diploma
