As the Early Learning Shared Services Specialist II, you will collaborate with Child Care Management Systems (CCMS), local Child Care Resource & Referral agencies, and Recruiters to promote and share the Shared Services Model. The Specialist II serves as the main point of contact for CCMS and Family Child Providers (FCC). Key responsibilities include facilitating monthly learning communities, tracking attendance, and promoting the Shared Services Model to FCC providers and centers. In this role, you will work closely with partner agencies, networks, and training meetings to ensure seamless service delivery.

What You'll Do
Essential Responsibilities:
- Partner with agencies to foster collaborative relationships
- Recruit and onboard Family Child Providers and centers to the Shared Services Model
- Provide personalized support to enrollees by managing access to services
- Present at training meetings and FCC networks
- Develop and distribute promotional materials, such as flyers and rack cards
- Maintain and update the group website
- Coordinate demos and assist with the implementation of various platforms
- Host monthly learning and networking sessions with participants
- Prepare and submit quarterly reports, including an annual year-end report
- Perform other duties as assigned
Work Environment: A combination of office and outdoor/travel settings
Work Schedule: Typically 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday – Friday; occasional evening and weekend hours may be required
Equipment Used: Computer and standard office equipment
Requirements
Mental, Physical, and Communication Demands: Requires excellent interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to pay close attention to detail. Requires working independently with minimal supervision.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
Skills and Knowledge:
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive client information with discretion.
- Understanding of the Child Care landscape in Hawaii.
- Knowledge of DHS Licensing Rules & Regulations.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Access to high-speed internet.
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in program management.
- Advanced computer software skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and working knowledge of database applications.
