What You'll Do
- Provide a stimulating environment for children to learn and explore through various materials and resources.
- Ensure the physical and emotional well-being of children by attending to their basic needs and engaging in activities tailored to their interests.
- Facilitate the development of essential skills, such as literacy, numeracy, and social skills, through interactive learning activities.
- Maintain a structured and organized classroom environment by establishing clear rules and procedures.
- Engage children in imaginative play and creative activities, such as arts and crafts, music, and storytelling.
- Lead educational activities and outings that promote physical, mental, and social development.
- Prepare and maintain a safe and hygienic learning environment, including serving meals and snacks in accordance with nutritional guidelines.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs and interests of students.
- Plan and implement lessons that promote learning objectives and communicate those objectives clearly to children.
- Model and demonstrate activities to children, encouraging them to participate and learn.
- Organize and arrange the classroom and playground to facilitate creative play, motor-skill activities, and safety.
- Display student work and maintain a visually appealing classroom environment.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education by attending professional meetings, conferences, and workshops.
- Plan and supervise class projects, field trips, and other experiential activities that promote learning and development.
