Preschool Lead Toddler Teacher

What You'll Do

Job Responsibilities:

• We are seeking a teacher with experience working with toddlers to join our team.
• Our ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a positive and organized classroom environment.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing social and developmental activities, assessing student progress, and communicating with parents through surveys, classroom observations, and meetings.
• We require our teacher to maintain a clean and organized classroom at all times.
• Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, as you will be in regular contact with parents to discuss student progress and concerns.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or an Associate's degree (preferably in Early Childhood Education).
• CDA certification or 15 credit hours in Early Childhood Education are preferred.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of teaching experience is required.
• We are looking for someone with a proven track record of working effectively with young children, parents, and volunteers.
• Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of best practices in early childhood development and parent-teacher relationships.
• We require a team player who can collaborate successfully with colleagues.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) are essential for this role.
• The ability to work well with young children is a must.
• A yearly certificate of good health is a requirement.
• Flexibility to work variable hours to meet program needs is also a requirement.

Nice to Have

• An Associate of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Development is a plus, but not a requirement.
• Experience working with at-risk children is a valuable asset.
