About This Role
Living Christ Preschool is hiring for a support staff member role in Madison. Compensation is $17 – $20/Hr. Candidates need a willingness to earn a CDA, with full program support provided.
We are looking for a dedicated Lead Teacher to join our team! This role involves designing and delivering engaging activities for young children, working Monday to Friday 7:15am-4:00pm.

What You'll Do
- Assist with planning, meal times, and breaks across different areas as needed.
- Teach preschool-aged children through interactive and developmentally suitable activities.
- Establish a fun and secure learning environment.
- Develop and implement schedules and routines to ensure adequate rest, playtime, and physical activity.
- Foster positive relationships with students and their families.
- Maintain the health and safety of all students.
- Comfortable working with children from infancy to 4 years old, this role is ideal for those who enjoy working with young children and want to contribute to their growth and development. We have a supportive staff and wonderful families. The hourly pay rate is determined by education and experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience in childcare, teaching, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- Passionate about working with children.
- Ability to build rapport with children.
- Positive and patient demeanor.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or related fields preferred but not required
Nice to Have
- Associate's Degree preferred but not required.
- Full-time Availability.
- Lead Qualified.
