What You'll Do

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring the children's safety and well-being at all times.
• Maintaining a happy and healthy environment by ensuring all children are well fed and content.
• Designing and implementing engaging, safe, and fun activities for all children.
• Hosting special guests to support curriculum learning.
• Organizing special events to make the summer experience truly magical for our young friends.

Requirements

All Live Oak Employees are required to:

• Be in good physical and mental health.
• Pass a background check.
• Pass a TB test and medical assessment.
• Hold a minimum of a high school diploma.
• Be highly organized and possess a creative approach to problem-solving.
• Enjoy working and playing with young people and thrive in a team environment.
• Work collaboratively as part of an amazing team of teachers.

Nice to Have

While not essential, we find it particularly beneficial for our team members to have :

• A degree in early childhood education, providing a strong foundation for our curriculum.
• Experience working in licensed child care settings, ensuring the highest standards of care.
• A background in working directly with children, fostering a deep understanding of their needs.
• Skills in event planning, allowing us to deliver engaging and memorable experiences.
• Classroom management experience, providing a calm and productive learning environment.
