$500 bonus paid in 2 ($250) increments after successful completion of 90 day probationary period.
What You'll Do
- Provide a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages social, cognitive and emotional growth.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the unique needs of each child.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues through positive communication and respect.
- Maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment that promotes exploration and learning.
- Prepare and distribute monthly classroom newsletters to keep families informed and engaged.
- Observe and record childhood milestones to track each child's progress.
- Complete portfolios for children in care to showcase their growth and development.
- Participate in bi-annual classroom conferences to share progress and set goals.
Requirements
- Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
- Able to build respectful relationships with children, families, and co-workers
- Willingness to lead a small group of children and maintain an organized classroom
- Ability to create a safe warm environment for the children
- Positive Attitude
- Must have or be able to obtain within 6 months of hire: Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development Credential, or a relevant field. Minimum state required classes will be completed during onboarding.
- Ability to lift and hold students
- Ability to stand, sit, walk on various surfaces inside and outside
- Infant CPR, or be willing to obtain
Nice to Have
A strong Level 7 or higher Registry credential would be an added asset to your application.
