About This Role
Based in Janesville, this support staff member opening at Little Lions Learning Center, LLC pays $15 – $17/Hr and requires no formal early childhood credentials to start.

What You'll Do
- Develop and implement engaging classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards to create a comprehensive educational curriculum.
- Lead by example and empower teaching team success through modeling and coaching, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Plan and execute individual and group activities to promote social, cognitive, and emotional growth in children, ensuring age-appropriate engagement.
- Maintain open communication with parents through regular discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences, keeping them informed and involved in their child's learning journey.
- Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met and maintained, upholding the highest standards of care and education.
- Maintain a healthy and safe classroom environment, including hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards, ensuring the well-being of all children.
- Supervise teacher assistants and classroom volunteers, ensuring they follow planned activities, hygiene, and safety standards, while promoting teamwork and collaboration.
- Accurately maintain records, forms, and files, ensuring efficient and organized record-keeping.
- Develop and maintain a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement, staying up-to-date with the latest teaching methodologies and best practices.
Requirements
WI Registry level 7 or higher
Prior early childhood experience
Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification
High school diploma or equivalent
Nice to Have
Certification in Infant/Child CPR and First Aid adds value to our team. We also welcome staff with WI Registry level 7 or higher. Previous experience in early childhood education is highly desirable.
