About This Role
Kids R Kids Landstar is hiring for a support staff member role in Orlando. Compensation is $45,000 – $60,000/Yr. Candidates need an active Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
The Center Director is the driving force behind the center's commitment to providing exceptional care and education to its students. As the leader of the center, this individual is responsible for ensuring the overall well-being and academic success of its children. With a strong focus on curriculum development, staff management, and financial planning, the Center Director plays a critical role in shaping the center's mission and goals.

What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain a quality vision for the center, ensuring adherence to state and local regulations and standards, while continually assessing and refining quality effectiveness measurements.
- Collaborate with staff to design and implement engaging educational programs, ensuring alignment with state and local regulations and standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records in accordance with established enrollment procedures and guidelines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and the community through regular communication, outreach activities, and community events.
- Approve menu plans and oversee food purchases to ensure nutritional and quality standards.
- Foster positive relationships with regulatory agencies, ensuring legal and financial compliance.
- Oversee office operations, including payroll, accounts payable and receivable, tuition billing and payment, human resources, and personnel management.
- Resolve conflicts in a fair and constructive manner, ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders.
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Establish and maintain emergency procedures, ensuring staff is adequately trained.
- Implement the center's strategic plan, aligning with its mission and goals.
- Prioritize ongoing professional development to stay abreast of best practices and ensure continuous quality improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in early childhood education or related field of study with a minimum of 30 credits in ECE.
- High energy.
- Strong oral and written communications skills; technology skills.
- Ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
- Strong understanding of child development.
- Strong finance and budgeting skills.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Must clear full background check.
- Must pass health screening.
- Minimum of 1 years of supervisory experience.
- Minimum of 2 years Center Director experience.
- 3 years of direct professional experience in an early childhood setting.
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong leadership skills.
Nice to Have
At least 2 years of experience as a Center Director is highly desirable.
