This position provides on-call, as-needed classroom coverage and basic care to maintain state child-to-staff ratios across infant, toddler, and preschool rooms. This role requires adapting to changing daily schedules, executing pre-planned lessons, supervising indoor and outdoor play, and tending to feeding and personal hygiene needs.

What You'll Do
- Teach basic skills, such as color, shape, number and letter recognition, personal hygiene, and social skills.
- Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order.
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
- Provide a variety of materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate, and use, both in learning activities and in imaginative play.
- Serve meals and snacks in accordance with nutritional guidelines.
- Attend to children's basic needs by feeding them, dressing them, and changing their diapers.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass drug screen and background check.
- Must be comfortable working in a church based facility, teaching Christian curriculum.
- Must have a love for children.
- Must be willing to learn and adapt quickly.
- Must be willing to work in whatever room needed for that day.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs safely.
- Capable of frequent bending, kneeling, and carrying infants for extended periods.
Nice to Have
- Classroom management experience.
- Prior experience working with infants in a daycare, preschool, or nannying setting.
- Ability to handle caregiving responsibilities effectively while maintaining a positive attitude and nurturing demeanor.
- Strong communication skills.
