What You'll Do

• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, ensuring they are free of dirt, grime, and germs.
• Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors, hallways, and common areas to maintain a clean and tidy environment.
• Maintain the cleanliness of entryways and high-traffic areas, making sure they are free of dirt and clutter.
• Empty trash regularly to prevent the buildup of waste and odors.
• Carpet cleaning as needed to maintain the appearance and hygiene of the facility.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces as needed to ensure they are streak-free and sparkling.
• Clean high-touch surfaces, such as doorknobs, light switches, and countertops, to prevent the spread of germs.
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and tissues to ensure the facility is always well-stocked.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines required for early childhood settings to ensure the well-being of children and staff.
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the management team.
• Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly to prevent accidents and injuries.

Requirements

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must pass background checks required for childcare licensing to ensure the safety and security of children in our care.
• Comfortable working in a childcare environment and able to handle the unique challenges that come with it.
• Ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety protocols to maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment.
