About This Role
Growing Places is hiring for a support staff member role in Lee. Compensation is $12 – $15/Hr. Candidates need the appropriate background.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring team member to assist our experienced teachers in providing a nurturing environment for young children to explore and learn through nature-based play and discovery. What You'll Do
- Support our dedicated teachers in maintaining a safe and engaging environment for children
- Contribute to the daily upkeep of our facilities to ensure a clean and healthy space
- Respond to the needs and emotional well-being of our young students
- Collaborate with teachers to plan and implement fun and educational activities for children
Requirements
- Must be willing to become CPR and First aid certified
- Must be willing to pass a thorough background check
- Must be at least 16 years of age
Nice to Have
Prior experience in early childhood education, preferably in a classroom setting, is a plus
