The Teacher Assistant plays a vital role in creating a nurturing environment for children and supporting Teachers and the Director. Effective communication and teamwork are essential to ensure a high-quality educational experience. Responsibilities include assisting in implementing a quality educational program, developing positive relationships with children and their parents, and reporting on children's progress to staff and parents.

What You'll Do
- Encourage self-help and good hygiene through modeling desired behaviors and maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Actively engage with children in activities, manage classroom materials, and ensure smooth transitions from home to child care.
- Maintain frequent and informal communication with parents to keep them informed of their child's progress.
- Support Teachers in implementing curricula activities and encouraging children's participation.
- Follow all center policies and state regulations, and contribute to the center's continuous quality improvement.
- Develop and maintain a personal professional development plan to stay up-to-date with best practices and industry standards.
Requirements
- Must clear full background check, pass health screening and complete OEC training.
- Must be 18+ years of age.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- High energy and mobility.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional child care experience.
- An understanding of child development.
