What You'll Do
Become a part of an extraordinary team! As a Lead Teacher at Golden Path Academy, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional developmental care and supervision to our children through the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum and activities. You will build and maintain strong relationships with children, co-teachers, and parents, setting a positive example of childcare best practices.
Your responsibilities will also include, but are not limited to:
- Creating and implementing engaging lesson plans
- Maintaining a safe and organized classroom environment
- Monitoring individual child development and preparing bi-annual progress reports
- Fostering positive relationships with parents
- Staying connected with parents daily through our school's communication app
Requirements
- Age 18 or older
- Completion of a high school program or equivalent
- Must meet one of the following:
- Hold a bachelor's degree in a child-related field
- Have 3 months of program experience and an early childhood certificate or CDA
- Have 6 months of supervised program experience and 24 hours of approved training
- Have 48 semester hours of college credit, including 12 hours in child-related subjects, and one year of program experience
