What You'll Do
Join our amazing team and provide developmental care and supervision to children at the center. As a Golden Path Academy Lead Teacher, you will implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that foster growth and development. You will also establish and maintain positive relationships with children, co-teachers, and parents, modeling excellent childcare practices.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of your students
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
- Track individual child development and complete bi-annual progress reports
- Build and maintain positive relationships with parents through regular communication
- Utilize a school-provided application to stay connected with parents throughout the day
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have fulfilled a high school program or the equivalent
- Must meet one of the following requirements:
- Have a bachelor's degree in a child-related field
- Have 3 months of program experience and an early childhood certificate or CDA.
- Have 6 months of supervised program experience and 24 hours of approved training.
- Have 48 semester hours of college credit, with at least 12 hours in child-related subjects, and one year of program experience.
