What You'll Do
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated teachers/champions who are passionate about working with toddlers and young children. Our ideal candidate will be a creative and engaging educator who is committed to supporting the academic, emotional, and social development of each child.
Responsibilities include:
- Fostering a love of learning in our children through play-based activities, arts, and crafts
- Encouraging early math skills through counting, hands-on activities, and problem-solving
- Developing language skills through creative reading, phonics activities, and interactive story time
- Supporting healthy lifestyles through the preparation and serving of nutritious meals and snacks
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized learning environment
- Collaborating with parents and staff to ensure the best outcomes for each child
Qualifications:
- A genuine love for children and a nurturing spirit
- Dependable, patient, and committed to the Academy’s mission
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and maintain a positive attitude
- Prior experience in childcare or early education preferred
- Ability to lift children that are 30 - 40 pounds in weight and 3 - 4 feet in height as well as physically play inside and outside in structured and non structural environments.
Requirements
- Some college or currently enrolled in college with a degree associated with Teaching
- Prefer College Graduate with a degree associated with Teaching
- 2+ to 5 years of experience
