At Global Elite Christian Academy and Learning Center, we're dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for children aged birth to three years. Located at 1560 Commercial Ct., Jonesboro, GA 30238, our Early Learning Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and supportive space that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth, all while adhering to Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL) standards.

What You'll Do
1. Implement a curriculum that meets the unique needs of each child, promoting their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
2. Ensure the physical and emotional well-being of each child, maintaining a safe and healthy environment at all times.
3. Regularly assess and observe children's progress, making data-driven decisions to inform instruction and make necessary adjustments.
4. Create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages children to explore, learn, and thrive.
5. Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
6. Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices, ensuring compliance with regulations and ongoing professional development.
Requirements
Education: Minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA), Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC), or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field.
Knowledge of GELDS, Bright from the Start policies, and best practices in early childhood development.
At least 1 year of experience in an early childhood education setting.
Certification: Must be registered in the Georgia Professional Development System (GaPDS) and maintain current required credentials.
Nice to Have
Pursuing an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field can be beneficial in this role.
Experience working in a Georgia Pre-K or Quality Rated child care setting can be a valuable asset to our team.
