What You'll Do
- Encourage children's participation in curricula activities and promote a sense of ownership through hands-on engagement.
- Take charge of classroom organization, ensuring that materials are maintained and accessible to all.
- Develop strong relationships with parents through regular updates and progress reports, keeping them informed of their child's growth and development.
- Model good hygiene and self-help skills, setting a positive example for the children.
- Streamline daily transitions, ensuring a smooth and seamless handover from home to child care center.
- Adhere to center policies and state regulations, upholding the highest standards of care and education.
- Develop a personal professional development plan to drive continuous improvement and excellence.
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of professional child care experience.
- A high level of energy is required to thrive in this role.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills are essential.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as basic computer skills, are necessary.
- An understanding of child development is crucial for success in this position.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required.
- A valid Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification is mandatory.
- Must pass a full background check and a health screening.
