Franconia Children's Center is hiring for a support staff member role in Franconia. Compensation is $18 – $20/Hr. Candidates need the appropriate background.

What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities:
- Nurturing Caregiver: Develop meaningful relationships with toddlers, addressing their physical, emotional, and social needs in a warm and responsive environment.
- Curriculum Designer: Craft engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences that stimulate exploration, creativity, and cognitive development in toddlers.
- Progress Tracker: Continuously assess and document each child's growth, identifying areas of strength and improvement to inform instruction and communication with parents.
- Partner in Learning: Foster open communication with parents and caregivers, collaborating to meet the unique needs and goals of each child.
- Collaborative Team Member: Contribute to a cohesive and supportive teaching team, sharing expertise and best practices to enhance the quality of care and education.
- Health and Safety Champion: Maintain a safe, organized, and clean environment, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations at all times.
- Professional Growth Seeker: Pursue ongoing professional development opportunities to expand your knowledge of early childhood education, child development theories, and best practices in toddler care.
- Engaging Activity Planner: Plan and implement a variety of activities and events that promote social-emotional learning, language development, and creative expression in toddlers.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
- Strong understanding of child development principles and play-based learning.
- Willingness to grow.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with toddlers in a play-based setting.
