The Teacher Assistant plays a key role in observing and documenting children's progress, communicating this information to parents and staff, and implementing developmentally appropriate activities under the guidance of the Teacher and Director.

What You'll Do
- Assist in planning and implementing educational activities, promoting children's engagement and participation.
- Engage proactively in daily activities, ensuring the classroom environment is tidy, well-maintained, and equipped with necessary materials.
- Model healthy habits and encourage self-care among children, promoting a culture of good hygiene and self-help.
- Streamline the daily transition process from home to the child care center, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
- Adhere to center policies and state regulations at all times.
- Pursue ongoing professional development, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
Requirements
- Must pass a full background check and clear a health screening.
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- An understanding of child development.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work well with others.
- High energy.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional child care experience.

- A combination of experience and education in early childhood development.
