Preschool Teacher

What You'll Do

• Implement engaging daily activities and lesson plans tailored to the needs of preschool-age children
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, adhering to staff-to-child ratios
• Guide children's behavior through positive reinforcement and redirection
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment that fosters a sense of community
• Prepare and submit required documentation, incident reports, and lesson plans
• Build strong relationships with families through open and effective communication
• Comply with childcare regulations, safety protocols, and health standards
• Contribute to a positive team environment through collaborative efforts

Requirements

• Background check clearance per state childcare regulations
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Previous experience working with preschool-age children preferred
• High school diploma or GED required

Nice to Have

• Experience with lesson planning and classroom routines
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
• Previous experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
• ECD 101 (Introduction to Early Childhood Education)
