What You'll Do
- Engage children in curriculum activities and encourage their participation.
- Manage classroom cleanliness, materials, and maintenance, and ensure a smooth daily transition for children.
- Maintain regular communication with parents through informal discussions and progress reports.
- Model self-help and good hygiene through behavior, and promote these values among children.
- Follow all center policies and state regulations, and maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Develop a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Requirements
- An understanding of child development is a must.
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification is a requirement.
- Ability to work well with others is a fundamental requirement.
- Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
- High energy levels are essential for this role.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional child care experience is required.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills are necessary for this position.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills are a must.
