Creative Child Learning Center is hiring for a support staff member role in Appleton. Compensation is $18 – $19.50/Hr. Candidates need the appropriate background.
We're seeking a passionate and dedicated early childhood professional to join our team at Creative Child Learning Center. As a fun-loving and organized individual, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students. A degree in early childhood education is required, as well as the ability to complete all necessary paperwork and licensing requirements prior to starting. Compensation is based on degree, registry rating, experience, and hours worked.
A full-time position is available for the right candidate, with hours dependent on the center's needs.

What You'll Do
- Design and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Provide daily care and support for children's physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Establish a safe and respectful classroom environment by setting clear expectations and consequences.
- Share stories and read books to children, fostering a love for literature and learning.
- Plan and lead activities that promote cognitive, physical, and social development, such as arts and crafts, music, and field trips.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
- Collaborate with supervisors, parents, and child development specialists to address any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress and needs.
- Adhere to all administrative policies and rules governing students.
- Prepare materials and classrooms for lessons and activities.
- Model healthy eating habits and personal hygiene practices.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
- Welcoming children to the school environment and engaging them in activities that spark their interest.
- Adjust teaching methods and materials to meet the unique needs and interests of individual students.
- Clearly articulate lesson objectives and communicate them to children.
- Demonstrate activities and techniques to children.
- Arrange the physical space to promote creativity, safety, and motor skill development.
- Display students' work in a manner that's visually appealing and developmentally appropriate.
- Pursue ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices.
- Meet with colleagues to plan and schedule lessons, ensuring a cohesive and engaging curriculum.
- Supervise and guide teacher assistants and volunteers to ensure a smooth and effective learning environment.
- Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with other professionals to discuss individual students' needs and progress.
- Plan and execute class projects, guest visits, and experiential activities that promote learning and engagement.
- Manage classroom equipment, materials, and supplies, ensuring they're well-maintained and up-to-date.
- Clean and maintain the classroom environment to ensure a safe and healthy space for children.
