Our teachers play a vital role in developing a cohesive teaching team, coordinating the curriculum, and managing the day-to-day operations of the classroom. We are looking for a teacher who is skilled in communicating with both children and adults, and who can effectively guide teacher assistants and resolve parental concerns.

What You'll Do
- Develop and implement educational curricula by planning classroom activities that align with developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards
- Motivate and support the teaching team through effective modeling and coaching, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
- Design and lead age-appropriate activities that engage children and promote social, cognitive, and emotional growth, encouraging active participation and exploration
- Maintain open and regular communication with parents through regular discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences, ensuring their concerns and needs are addressed
- Ensure compliance with all center policies and state regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for children and staff
- Supervise and support teacher assistants and classroom volunteers, ensuring they are aware of and adhere to planned activities, hygiene, and safety standards
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, forms, and files, ensuring seamless administrative operations
- Develop and implement a personal professional development plan to continuously improve teaching practices and ensure high-quality care for our students
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of professional child care experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills
- High energy and ability to work effectively with others (staff, children, and parents) to foster a team environment
- Strong understanding of child development
- Must pass full background check and health screening
- Ability to perform frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools or controls, talk to and hear voices at many levels, and kneel, bend, squat or crawl
- Specific vision ability required, including ability to see up close and up to a certain distance, see colors, have peripheral vision and depth perception
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Must clear full background check

Nice to Have
- Current Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification (training provided if needed)
We will provide training if needed.
- Associate's Degree in early childhood education or a related field of study with a minimum of 30 credits in ECE
