This full-time position comes with a 40-hour workweek and 52 weeks of employment per year.

What You'll Do
Our ideal candidate will:
- Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and engaging learning environment for all children.
- Foster trusting relationships with children and families through active listening, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Collaborate with families as their child's primary educator, encouraging involvement and supporting the development of relationships between children and families.
- Design and implement daily learning experiences that cater to the unique needs, interests, and abilities of each child.
- Ensure the completion of essential teaching responsibilities, including:
Conduct developmental and behavioral screenings for each child within 45 days of enrollment and maintain ongoing observation and assessment procedures throughout their participation in the program.
Create and implement daily classroom activities that are both teacher-initiated and child-led, tailored to meet the individual needs and interests of the children.
Complete four family visits per year, scheduling meetings at the family's convenience, with a goal of two home visits and two center visits each year.
Requirements
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or degree in related field with 18 credits in ECE, including at least one 3 credit course in Child Growth and Development
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or related field
