We're seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic After School teacher to join our team at Chroma Early Learning Academy at East Cobb! As a passionate advocate for early childhood education, you'll play a vital role in supporting young children as they grow and develop. What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead engaging after-school activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth in our students
- Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment that reflects our center's values
- Develop and implement age-appropriate arts, sports, and enrichment programs that spark curiosity and creativity
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers, fostering a sense of community and belonging
- Adhere to all state licensing and center policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment
Requirements
Requirements:
- Must meet Georgia DECAL background and health screening requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and actively engage with students for extended periods
- Ability to work assigned after-school hours consistently
- Previous experience working with ASP in a licensed childcare setting preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent (CDA or ECE coursework preferred)
- Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset
