As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and guiding a cohesive teaching team, designing engaging lesson plans, and overseeing the daily operations of the classroom.

What You'll Do
- Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.
- Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required.
- Observe and document children's growth, behavior, and development
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about daily routines, progress, and other information
- Ensure a healthy and organized classroom environment – including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
- Implement age-appropriate activities that promote developmental milestones
- Lead by example; encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching.
Requirements
- Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and engage in active play
- High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
- Able and willing to accept direction, feedback, and evaluation.
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional childcare experience.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong understanding of child development.
- Degree or certificate in an early education related field is recommended but not required.
