Based in Springboro, this support staff member opening at Bumble Bees Academy pays $15 – $16/Hr and requires the appropriate background.
We are seeking a highly organized and approachable lead toddler teacher to join our team, responsible for developing and implementing curriculum that address the educational needs of young children who are not yet due to enter kindergarten.
The ideal candidate will formulate and implement curriculum to meet the basic and educational needs of toddlers, create engaging lesson plans, track and report on students' progress, and ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.
To ensure success as a lead toddler teacher, you should be compassionate, able to work well under pressure, and possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

What You'll Do
Lead Toddler Teacher Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing curriculum that address the educational needs of young children who are not yet due to enter kindergarten.
- Ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.
- Creating engaging lesson plans that cater to the basic and educational needs of toddlers.
- Tracking and reporting on students' progress.
- Managing relationships with each family to ensure that their toddler's needs are met.
- Leading staff and parent meetings, and engaging in team-building activities.
Requirements
Lead Toddler Teacher Requirements:
- Prior experience teaching toddlers.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 70 pounds.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- A keen interest in early childhood education.
- Valid state license or equivalent.
- Associate's or CDA in early childhood education.
Nice to Have
We are a small ratio center that implements Creative Curriculum, offering opportunities for growth and development.
Preferred candidates will have experience working with toddlers in a licensed facility and a bachelor's degree in early childhood education.
The compensation package will be commensurate with experience and education level.
