Classroom Procedures
Cleanliness
We take cleanliness very seriously and take numerous precautions to prevent the spread of germs. In the infant areas, all teachers and staff wear protective footwear to minimize external germs. All spaces where children gather are regularly sanitized. Toys are disinfected regularly to ensure a clean and safe environment. Our classrooms are carefully designed to provide a warm, intimate, and secure space for children to learn, explore, and thrive at their own pace. We understand the importance of arranging a room to support and encourage children's exploration of the world. For instance, infant rooms feature ample floor space to promote gross-motor development, while school-age children are provided with environments that foster social interaction and individual exploration.
Registry and Continuing Education
Continuing Education:
Staff members will receive 15 hours of continuing education each year in child growth and development, early childhood education, caring for children with disabilities, or first aid, as approved by the department. This training may include attending workshops, conferences, or observing other child-care programs. Up to 5 hours of independent reading or watching educational materials may be used to meet continuing education requirements. Documentation of completion of the continuing education will be kept in the staff file at the center.
Every teacher must maintain a current certificate of completion for a department-approved course in infant and child cardiopulmonary resuscitation, including training in the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).
We invite passionate individuals who meet these qualifications to apply for the Shift Leader position and contribute to our commitment to educational excellence.
