What You'll Do
- Assist in planning and implementing curricula activities that encourage active participation from children.
- Engage in classroom activities, maintaining a clean and well-organized learning environment, and ensuring the availability of necessary materials.
- Maintain regular communication with parents through informal discussions and progress reports, keeping them informed of their child's development and well-being.
- Model and encourage good hygiene and self-help skills among children.
- Ensure a smooth transition from home to child care center, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Comply with all center policies and state regulations, adhering to established standards.
- Develop and implement a personal professional development plan to continually improve the quality of care and education provided.
Requirements
- Must have at least 1-2 years of experience in professional child care.
- High energy level is essential for this role.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team is crucial.
- Strong communication and basic computer skills are necessary.
- Understanding of child development principles is vital.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required.
- Certification in infant/child CPR and First Aid is mandatory.
- Must undergo a full background check and pass a health screening.
