What You'll Do
Responsibilities:
- Craft engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of children aged 3-5 years, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning.
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children to grow and thrive.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and behavior.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and effective curriculum that supports the educational and emotional needs of young learners.
- Maintain a well-organized and safe classroom environment, ensuring that children feel comfortable and secure.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a early childhood education setting is required.
- Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, or a CDA (Child Development Associate) Credential.
- A genuine love for children and the ability to build trusting relationships.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- English speaking is a must.
Nice to Have
Considerations for our ideal candidate include proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese, as well as the understanding that working with children under three requires physical stamina and a willingness to engage in play-based learning.
