Beach Montessori is seeking responsible and dependable assistant teachers for our infant, ones, and two's classrooms. As part of our team, you will be responsible for planning and leading engaging activities, observing and supervising playtime, and utilizing a variety of teaching techniques to promote learning and development. Effective communication with parents is also essential in understanding each child's background and needs.

What You'll Do

Requirements
- At least 6 months to one year of teaching experience with toddlers, infants, or young school-age children in the classroom.
- Dependable, reliable, flexible, loving, caring and overall a team player with a positive personality and is able to communicate well with children, parents, and the staff
- At least 18 years old of age
Nice to Have
- Child Abuse Certification
- Virginia's 10 hour preservice training and the 3-hour update for the preservice training
- Health Screening Certification
- Childcare experience (at least 6 months)
- CPR Certification
Benefits
Part time and full time positions available.
Pay rate depends on the amount of experience and shall be discussed during a scheduled interview.
