About This Role
Barrel of Monkeys Childcare and Preschool Center is hiring for a support staff member role in Austintown. Compensation is $12 – $15/Hr. Candidates need the appropriate background.

This position offers the opportunity to create a nurturing environment and assist in activities that promote the overall care and education of infants and toddlers.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building positive relationships with children and their parents, while also demonstrating exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
Our center is open Monday through Friday, with flexible shift hours including 9:00am-6:00pm and 11:00am-6:00pm.

What You'll Do
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing top-notch care to infants and toddlers, including diapering and feeding.
- Maintaining the confidentiality of our families and ensuring a safe and healthy environment at all times.
- Keeping the building spotless and sanitized, while also communicating effectively with coworkers.
- Following all center policies and state regulations, with a focus on providing exceptional care and education.
- Building strong relationships with children, parents, and staff members.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- Pass BCI/FBI background checks
- Must meet all applicable licensing and Step Up To Quality regulations
- Must be trained in all age groups 6 weeks - 12 years old and work with all ages at any given time
- Child care experience
- Active and high energy
- Ability to work in a team environment
- CPR, First Aid, Child Abuse and Communicable Disease certifications
- If you do not have these, you will need to attend classes to obtain them within 30 days of employment
