About This Role
Amazing Childcare and Learning Academy is hiring for a support staff member role in Hampton. Compensation is $15 – $16/Hr. Candidates need the appropriate background.
At Amazing Childcare and Learning Academy, we are a learning academy that focuses on preparing children for kindergarten success through intentional teaching, routine, and a state-approved curriculum. We are seeking a professional, dependable teacher who values structure, consistency, and growth. Our structured early learning program includes:
kindergarten readiness
daily schedules and routines
curriculum-based instruction
social-emotional development
professional classroom practices
We offer full-time and part-time positions, Monday–Friday.

What You'll Do
The teacher's key responsibilities include:
- Implementing a director-selected curriculum that promotes learning and growth
- Establishing and maintaining a structured daily schedule that supports children's needs
- Creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment that encourages children to explore and learn
- Providing intentional instruction that supports children's learning and development
- Maintaining a clean and organized classroom, as well as consistent routines that promote a sense of security and predictability for children
- Communicating effectively and professionally with families and leadership, including completing required documentation and daily reports
- Working collaboratively with a teaching team to provide a cohesive and supportive learning environment
Requirements
Preferred candidates will have:
- Experience working with young children and a deep understanding of their needs and developmental stages
- A reliable and punctual attitude, with a strong commitment to being on time and ready to work
- An open and receptive mindset, with a willingness to receive coaching and feedback that will help them grow and improve in their role
- A strong ability to follow policies and procedures, as well as a commitment to upholding the academy's standards and expectations
- A professional attitude and demeanor, with a strong emphasis on maintaining a positive and respectful tone in all interactions
- Excellent organizational and preparation skills, with the ability to plan and prepare for lessons, activities, and other responsibilities
- A strong commitment to supporting the academy's vision and standards, with a willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals
(ECE coursework or certification is preferred but not required, depending on the position. A preferred but not required bachelor's or associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is also welcome.)
